Bigbelly solar powered trash compactors that email Maintenance when they’re full!

2016 ARC Trees
This Bigbelly solar powered trash compactor really does email the Maintenance Department when it’s full! These recycle stations were purchased with matching funds from ARC Administration & the ARC Student Senate. There were two purchased to test out — you can find one on the West side of the Administration Building, and the other on the South-West side of the new Student Center. A great big thank you to our students for their investment into our campus!

Recycle – Do you know what can go into the bin?

Did you know that Sacramento has a single-stream recycling system in place which means everything can go into one can without sorting. This approach allows us to recover up to three times as many recyclable materials as in the past! Please remember to empty & rinse food containers before placing them into recycling bins and be sure that paper is clean and dry.
