Recycle – Do you know what can go into the bin?

recycle poster half sheet

Did you know that Sacramento has a single-stream recycling system in place which means everything can go into one can without sorting. This approach allows us to recover up to three times as many recyclable materials as in the past! Please remember to empty & rinse food containers before placing them into recycling bins and be sure that paper is clean and dry.

This post wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention that you can also bring your CFL bulbs, batteries and spent printer cartridges in to Maintenance or Printing Services for recycling. In fact, thanks to our partnership with T3 Toner, we actually earn money on recycling printer cartridges, so bring them in from home and hit your neighbors up for theirs!
